A Piano's Purpose

I'm so excited to share my latest project with you.
I was contacted by Al Fox and the fabulous team at Deseret Industries and they asked me if I would repurpose a piano for a film they were working on.
I thought to myself, "Sure, I restore pieces of furniture all the time. This should be fun!"
Then I saw the piano for the first time...

A Piano's Purpose - the inspirational journey of a piano!

...and couldn't wait to get my hands on it! How beautiful is this piano?
There were a lot of dents, paint spills, water damage, etc - but I loved the structure and all the details - I knew I could give it a lot of love and a whole new look!

Check out the latest Mormon Message to see the piano reveal!

I will never look at a film the same way again. I had a full-on film crew at my home, in my garage and living room. My mind was blown to see the "behind the scenes" of these films. So many hours, prayers, miracles, incredible talent, and a creative vision to make this all happen.

I will never look at the DI the same again. They are so much more than a thrift store! Just take a peek at Mike's inspiring story to see what I mean.

    2. This video is a masterpiece. I was flooded with emotion. The amazing music set the tone, but I was overwhelmed by the vision of mortality, as well as the exquisite value of each soul, and our great loss with the passing of our loved ones. We should treasure the eternal promises made to us by our Heavenly Father through the gospel of Jesus Christ, for we shall be reunited with our family again!

  7. A great video! I'd be so intimidated to mess with a piano. It turned out beautiful. I enjoyed the links to DI. I didn't know they had a website or blog!
