Mini Easter Bouquets (One Bouquet into Three Ministering Gifts)

There's something about flowers that lightens a tough week or a difficult situation.

They don't fix everything. They don't need to. They simply say, "I thought of you." And during Easter I try pairing that simple kindness with a quiet reminder of the hope we have in Jesus Christ.

These mini "Resurrection Hope" bouquets are a great gift because they are easy to assemble, budget-friendly and beautiful without being complicated. Oh, and you can make THREE gifts in about 20 minutes!

Easter can get busy fast between activities, family plans, etc.!

They're great for:

ministering sisters
neighbors
youth leaders
Primary presidency/teachers
a friend going through a difficult time
anybody who could use a hopeful message and gift!

The message behind this gift is simple. Because of Jesus Christ we can have hope (Moroni 7:41).

How to Turn One Bouquet into Three

Supplies
  • 1 standard grocery store bouquet (I love Costco and Sams for these!)
  • kraft paper
  • tissue paper
  • twine or thin ribbon
  • free printable "Resurrection Hope" tags
  • hole punch
  • scissors or flower snips
  • small bowl of water (to keep stems fresh while you assemble)
Step One

Fill a cup or bowl with water. As you divide your bouquet, you’ll place stems in water so nothing wilts while you work.

Step Two

Lay the bouquet out and group pieces into small piles. Greenery, Flowers, and Fillers.

Step Three

Start with the greenery first. Grab 2-3 stems for each mini bouquet to create shape and fullness.
Tip: In the future, I wouldn't trim the stems until the end right before you wrap them up!

Step Four

Add 1-2 main flowers to each bundle.
Tip: Keep the best looking flowers in the front!

Step Five

Add filler flowers until the bouquets look full and balanced.

Step 6

Trim the stems if you haven't already.

Step 7

Cut kraft paper into rectangles (about 10x14 inches, adjust as needed).

Wrap like this:

  1. Lay bouquet diagonally across the paper.

  2. Fold one corner up and around.

  3. Wrap the other side over to create a cone shape.

  4. Add tissue paper inside if you want a softer look.

Secure with twine around the middle.

Final Step

Punch a hole in the tag and tie it onto the twine.

That’s it - simple, modern, and meaningful.

Sometimes the most meaningful ministering gifts are the simplest ones.

A small bouquet. A quiet message. A reminder that because Jesus Christ lives, hope is real for all of us.
